Optus Australia are currently experiencing issues with their SMS platform since 2011-10-07 17:00:00 Australian EST.
Some MO and MT SMS messages sent to and from Optus Australia users are being delayed.
Some MOs are being queued by the network; Any premium MTs that are not able to be submitted to the network are being queued on our SMS gateway for delivery once the issue has been resolved.
Bulk MT messages are not affected.
The network is aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. There is currently no estimated time to resolution, however we will issue an update as soon as more information becomes available.
