Approval Process

All services except Micropayments and Mobile Content (Ringtones, Truetones, Videos, Images) require approval before they are permitted to be put in the public domain. We have an existing approval for our mPUSH services, which when using our JunglePay interface, you can bill multiples without the need for carrier approval. Also, without carrier approval, but with approval from txtNation you can also build your own micropayment or content delivery service.

Shared shortcode approval takes 10 weeks upon application approval by mobile operators.

Promotion Guidelines

The same approval process applies to both shared codes and dedicated codes, see forum entry Singapore - Premium SMS Regulations for more information.

Opt-in Process

The same applies to both shared codes and dedicated codes, see forum entry  Singapore - Premium SMS Regulations for more information.

Message Flow Requirements

The same applies to both shared codes and dedicated codes, see forum entry  Singapore - Premium SMS Regulations for more information regarding Message Flow Requirements. We do not have specific message flow approvals on our Singapore  lines that you must adhere to. Providing you are adhering to the regulations set by the regulator, that is all that is required.

Billing Types

We operate on a One-In One-Out (IO) billing line on our shared line in Singapore. See forum entry "What are the SMS billing types available?" for more information on these billing types.

Service Types

The same applies to both shared codes and dedicated codes, see forum entry Singapore - Premium SMS Regulations for more information. Also see above in this forum entry "Approval Process" for more information on our existing approvals on our shared line.

Available Tariffs

The only tariff currently available on our shared code is SGD 6 and SGD 15, however you can bill multiples of this as it is an MT billed line.

Frequency and Amount

The same applies to both shared codes and dedicated codes, see forum entry Singapore - Premium SMS Regulations for more information.

Taxes

The current rate of tax in Singapore is available via Wikipedia. The out payments on our rate cards are exclusive of VAT, so if you are VAT registered you can claim a higher outpayment than is shown.

Dedicated Codes

Dedicated codes are available with a 24 week lead time on carrier acceptance of your application. The carriers approve based on their backlog, the time of year, price point and service type. You can read more about Short Code Coverage, SMS Billing Services and Mobile Payments in Singapore via the txtNation Gateway.
