Interruption to Premium and Standard Rate MTs 18th May 2014


Between Saturday, 17th May 2014 at 11.00 PM (BST) and Sunday 18th at 6:00 AM, our platform experienced a partial outage due to a problem with our database cluster, which may have affected some client services. Any messages queued prior or during this time would have been processed on Sunday morning. We apologise unreservedly for any delay you might have experienced.

Outages of this scale are rare, but we continue to advise our clients and partners to ensure they have a robust retry policy in place for retrying messages following unexpected degradation in service. We are taking urgent actions to help prevent future problems with our database cluster as part of our ongoing improvement program.

We extend our apologies to clients who experienced any degradation in service during this window and thank them for their patience. We remain committed to rolling out substantial improvements over the coming weeks to curb similar issues and we can’t wait to share more details with you soon.
