Summary:  We notify our clients using our global messaging services that they may experience some latency issues or other messaging delays for a short time while we investigate a sudden performance issue with part of our database cluster due to abnormally high demand for messaging. Our technical teams are focussed on this issue to restore normal service in the shortest possible time. Thank you for your patience.

    UPDATE: We are currently recovering from a suspected DDoS incident that our technical teams continue to investigate as an urgent priority. Affected messaging traffic is beginning to be processed again and full service will be resumed shortly. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this investigation.

    UPDATE: Our technical teams have now restored full service to our global messaging platform following a suspected DDoS incident that consumed unprecedented resources for a short time. We have since taken a number of steps to bring our database cluster back to full health. Any messages that have been queued will be processed as normal. Further investigations will take place in the coming hours and days to establish the precise causes of the incident and to identify the next practical steps we can take to ensure improved availability for impacted services.
